Past Events

The Mean Dynamics had the privilege to participate in The Big Event, a UNT event where community members work various outreach and volunteer shifts throughout North Texas. The Mean Dynamics were placed at the Great American Cleanup.

The Mean Dynamics had the pleasure of doing an outreach workshop with students at Lewisville Elementary. We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire the next generation of musicians!

The Mean Dynamics performed a half time show at the UNT Women's Basketball home again against Tulane Unviersity, and were broadcasted live to a national TV audience.

In collaboration with the University Program Council, the Mean Dynamics brought live music to the University Union Syndicate in January 2025.

In December 2024, the Mean Dynamics performed at the Acatex Vocal Festival in Rockwall, TX. They had the privilege of connecting with acapella groups from all over Texas and collaborating with experienced clinicians.

The Mean Dynamics spent December caroling around UNT Campus and Denton Square and proudly collaborated with West Oak Coffee bar. 

On November 2, 2024, the Mean Dynamics participated in the Breakthrough T1D walk to raise funds for type 1 diabetes research.

Make a Difference Day is a university-wide day of service celebrated by the UNT community each fall. In 2024, The Mean Dynamics spent the day at Shiloh Field Community Garden in Denton, TX.

The Big event is a nationally recognized day of service where student organizations come together to volunteer for local charitable organizations. On March 3, 2024, the Mean Dynamics cleared out the potato patch at Shiloh Gardens, a community garden right here in Denton, TX.

Eaglethon is an annual fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to serve the families of Cook Children's hospital. The Mean Dynamics has performed here since 2023, and plans to continue lending our voices to the cause.

Make a Difference Day is a recognized day of service celebrated by the UNT community each Fall. In 2023, Mean Dynamics spent the day at WOW U-Pick Farms in Krum, TX for the third year. 

In April of 2023, Mean Dynamics hosted their annual concert featuring hit songs like  Beggin', Clarity, Lost in Japan, and many more! You can find a recording of the performance on our Youtube channel.

Eaglethon is an annual fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to serve the families of Cook Children's hospital. Mean Dynamics performed for the first time and helped raise $26,308.65 for Cook Children's Hospital patients and their families.

In April of 2019, Mean Dynamics had their very first concert! This concert featured songs like No Tears Left to Cry, Lovely, Electric Love, and many more! Click the image to see the humble beginnings of this wonderful group!
